Since 1992 I have been working in the musical theatre in Italy and abroad. I have directed many operas, spanning from the XVII century repertoire to contemporary works with a particular focus on new musical theatre, operas written for young people and chamber theatre. I like to study the past in order to build bridges with our present time; I believe in a theatre that speaks  to my contemporaries, entertains them, moves and make them think. A theatre which is the result of a team work, in which everybody (performers, chorus, orchestra, technicians) give his best to create the magic of artistic communication. Theatre should aim to be culture, research, commitment and at the same time imagination, entertainment, sensuality and game.
